# Federal Workforce Dependency Map

The dataset is built from OPM FedScope federal employment figures (FY2024 baseline), Bureau of Labor Statistics LAUS/SAE state labor data, CBO federal compensation analysis, and public reporting on 2025 federal workforce reductions (NYT/Wikipedia tracking, PBS/OMB reporting).
